This plant species remains mostly the same except new species have been added. Plant species X-2 and X-3.

X-2 Cause torpor and besides their looks function the same as regular X plants.

X-3 Cause enemies to take more damage when they are hit

How to obtain seeds: They live a brutal life... killing them is the only way! The seeds will drop under their bodies but they wont be there for long!


This plant species also remains mostly the same, except that big plants have been added so players can trap bigger creatures. They will now also protect themselves with randomly placed traps in their area. New plant for this species is Plant species Y-2

Y-2 lay mines instead of traps which explode after a short delay. They produce these mines for players to use. They are triggered just like normal traps but can cause chain reactions if other mines are close by!

How to obtain seeds: You can scrape them off the bodies of the plants once you get close to them, or you can get slightly less seeds for destroying. Seeds will grow back later and can be stolen again.


The "tameable" version of this plant now moves! (wow so animated) They also heal just like the wild version. In the wild and tamed these plants will shoot out their flash band seeds to deter attackers. This is non lethal but very annoying. They will heal ANYTHING in their range friend or foe, so be careful where you place them. They also have a new species, Z-2.

Z-2 The same behavior as Z-1 but instead of using flash grenades they use grenades that push enemies away from them. They restore the food of anything near them so they are very useful for breeding pens!

How to obtain seeds: The same as before but since the plants are defensive they are slightly more annoying.


Now actually helps you protect your home like normal species plants. They come in many different flavors that do varying damage, have varying health, and produce varying meats. I'll purposefully keep this one vague because it's interesting to find them out in the wild or spawn them to see what they do for yourself!

How to obtain seeds: Killing them will grant you the seed you desire!


A tameable version of Carniflora they will attack creatures even if they can't eat them with a powerful bite that rivals the strength of wild gigas, they attack relatively slowly however. They can now eat creatures of 250 drag weight and below instantly and will steal all the items a player or creature has when they swallow them. Any items left in their "stomach" will dissolve after 5 seconds. Items without durability are dissolved instantly and items with durability will have it's durability lowered until it's broken after which it will be fully dissolved. They too have another species. Note they have more health but take much more fire damage and can be damaged with anything or any creature that harvests wood. (On death they have a chance to give rare flowers!)

C-2 A swampy version of carniflora, they do all the same things a normal C plant does except they cause a nasty debuff that cripples food, lowers health, and does more nasty things. They however do less damage overall than normal C Plants

How to obtain seeds: Killing them will grant 1 seed and never more!


Poisonous bog plants that spray a deadly gas that deals 0.1% of health as damage every second something is near it. (this is double the healing of z plants!) This poison is indiscriminate and will even effect your own creatures so be very careful where you place these plants. You can control where the gas is released in it's radial menu but it is ideal to wear a gas mask or some other protective gear to do so. You can harvest resources from them just like the genesis version!

How to obtain seeds: Destroying the plant is the only way to get a seed here as well


A giant flower that releases spores to buff anything that comes near them. This buff gives a 20% increase in damage and 10% resistance. These plants also produce rare flowers. Other than that they are just really big ornaments!

How to obtain seeds: The flower will occasionally drop seeds as long as a player is standing under it.
