Overall I like the idea of expanding upon the Queen and maybe making a system to morph eggs into hive animals or selected hatching of the sort. Maybe some means to extend the life span of pawns but at a great cost.
I also think that the Hive humans should have a weight to traits like cannibal or psychopath or ones that in general make them care less about mood or doing questionable thingss.
Not the same exactly, but similar concept. Nonetheless I'm excited to see the directions this mod goes in and its fairly unique in its own right.
I am aware of this, but i'm not sure how to fix it. It has something to do with the custom body shapes the androids have somehow affecting my mod, but i cant figure out how to fix this. im not very experienced or good with modding so im not sure how to go about this
Suggestion: If there's an issue with the bodies, why not implement one of the body mods as a dependency? I currently haven't ran into that but it might be because I have the Old World mod which makes Android Tiers robots look more steampunky, but if that ain't your thing then maybe the inverse is required.
Suggestion: Make the Hive Queen a Pawn rather than an animal for two reasons, eating one should be at least as repulsive as eating other humanoids, and because you can pretty much disable everything except for possibly melee or have learning or the like, mental skills, tied to the Queen, but conversely reduce it's movement greatly making it a slow and mostly sedentary creature requiring the hive rather than relying on the animal AI to corral it like some living cloning vat.
Suggestion: Make different classes of eggs, if this is modeled after hives in general, there should be workers, caretakers, and soldiers, not to mention queens.
Suggestion: Make Pawn Queens rivals of each other, making it harder to barn them in one room and just forget about them as long as the food trough is full
Suggestion: Require Pawn Queens always have the trait Greedy, I mean they're hive queens, if they don't got the best stuff something's gone horribly wrong with your hive.
Far-fetched Suggestion: Cross-compatibility with Genetic Rim, QEE, or one of the other evolved mods that tinker with genomes on the Queen, by this I mean if the queen has scales, the progeny should have scales, thrumbo horns, or whatever other war crime you throw onto the queen should at least have a chance to be passed down to their children. This should obviously not be without risk, if the queen is too deviant it should turn hostile as it doesn't recognize the drones around it as from the same hive.
Specially the Queen is a greedy anti Queen pawn.
At the moment i have the problem after all my first Drones have died the two queens i had gone mad. So i have no new workers for a longer time and the two queens are rampaging inside my base. Which will lead in 15 ingame days to an extinction.
The natural death of the pawns shouldnt case anything at all neither to the queen nor the animals.
Maybe you could think about prolonging the lifetime.
Maybe you could think about different classes:

- caretaker should be the classic housekeeper (cleaning, cooking, butchering, hunting, nursing, ...) with +2 in all of its field and +5 randomly and it should be the smallest maybe 0.7. Fastest way of getting born, to hatching to be useful.
- worker should be the classic hard worker (digging, making, growing, ...) with +3 in all of its field and + 4 randomly and it should be normal sized 1.0. Standard time of born to be useful.
- soldiers should be the classic soldier type (shooting, melee, hunting, animal) with + 8/10/12 in those things and the rest expect sozial and intelligence could be disabled. It should be the largest but smaller then the queen and the longest evolving and life time.
I was trying to do something like this mod with an ant race but I had a problem with the xml syntax^^.
My first hatched human is already 2 quadrum + few days old...
You updated the mod, or its conflicting with something?
I'm removed CSL (its total incompatible), but haves the other children mod (B&C) + RJW.
Hive humans info tab say their life expectancy is 40 (!!!) yrs.
hmm that shouldnt happen. do they have the lifespan hediff in their health tab? that controls how long they live, and ive never had a problem with the new hive humans spawning without it before
I'm tried to allow "life stages" via Children & Pregnancy mod options. This only made their head graphically removed. (Just the graphic)
I'm tried to force their birthday. I'm aged one of them to 200 years old. He got many old age sickness, but still lived happily.
When I'm removed all children / pregnancy mods, your mod worked without any issues.
So looks like HH is incompatible with:
Children school learning (you already know this)
And at least one of these:
Children & pregnancy
Babies & children
Rimjobworld
omnivores to start eating the whole map, including trees,
frost resistance and high aggression if they try to kill them. Like a crisis, all mutants eating ants or termites, if not stopped, will eat all the biomass and players.
