Anyone else having issues accessing the finale?

I have the chapter select fix mod installed and I did all the levels but I can't get the finalie to appear. My best guess is that its cause it says there is a time piece in the free roam. But using the Hat kid hat to sense goals tells me I need to go to an impossible location abroad the egg carrier?
