Report a translation problem
To me it seems, that its kinda tick-related where a particular task did not run properly within that tick, whereas the tick for issuing the connect call went through.
Nevertheless Spug didnt make any updates since ages and i guess, your issue will stay unsolved.
What you can do is, stop the script by calling the same argument just one block in front of the connector and dock it yourself. Its crap, but it'll work.
