Avalanche - Black Summer is modeled after (with some creative liberties taken) Z Nation, and in some capacity the Black Summer show(s) on Netflix. Scarcity in everything is the battle cry here.

While we are just starting out, we're looking for avid players who are feeling up to take the challenge. We offer a few things;

• Admin Events at random with rewards at 10+ players.
  
• Active staff and moderation.
  
• A Discord server, and naturally we're open to suggestions!
  
• Prompt support and bug fixes.
  
• Six (6) hour restarts (To avoid instability.)
  
• Wipes every six (6) months.

Our modlist is rather simplistic in design and aims to enhance the experience. But we give with one hand, and take with the other.

While you may have a bigger inventory, and your stacks go higher, zombies are ever more dangerous and numerous by virtue of modification, which is not the only thing; you may yet encounter player-controlled zombies. Scarcity is a real thing here, with food and water being your immediate concern. And rather than getting cold, you may now face overheating as a problem. Summer in Chernarus has always been brutal. Days are scorching hot, and night time runs for even longer adding to the zombie threat.

Above all else, there is no map, there is no crosshair and there is no third person.

Do you have what it takes to survive? To thrive? To form a community, a bandit clan or just be a wanderer? We invite you to take the test, and try to survive in this unforgiving, harsh new experience.

Chernarus Is Dead | No KOS PVP Zones | AI Patrols | Missions

We are a close knit community looking to build a nostalgic feeling based on the old days of the Dayz ARMA 2 Mod. We are aiming to give a thrilling edge of your seat experience where you are also free to be you. We're always looking to meet new faces and just in general have a good time slaying the hordes, or bullet timing the AI Patrols. We have a few increased points of interest, we've recently reworked Balota Airfield, North East Airfield and Skalisty Island a bit. So if you're interested, feel free to join us! Server Story

It was December 16th, 2013 when the bombs started dropping. My family and I didn't have the damndest clue of what the hell was going on at the time. We treated each day beforehand like it was normal everyday life, enjoying the luxuries, family time, playing game, just living life to the fullest. But that one fateful day everything changed on the flip of a dime. We took shelter and barely survived the beginning of the end. Thankfully at the beginning it didn't seem nearly as bad as we initially thought but, boy were we wrong...we were oh so damn wrong.
People just didn't seem normal at all after the bombs dropped. Some of them were either losing their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ minds, somewhat confused and lost in limbo because of all the losses, or worst of all just becoming absolute lunatics. But there was definitely alot more to it than that. Animals like wolves, bears, wild boars, they all became even more aggressive than usual. Some of them became murdering machines if you ask me. Another weird thing that was happening was people were walking around with skin hanging from their bodies almost as if they were decaying.
Fast forward to 2022 and let me tell you not much has changed. I managed to live out the past 9 years barely scavenging enough food and supplies. In the midst of it all I lost my wife and my child. Lord knows I miss them more each day. But I vowed to them to rebuild a community, something that would certainly make them proud. Zombies still run wild around Chernarus but we're working together to give mercy to the dead. Bandits run wild as well shooting at anything that moves. If we can rebuild civilization then maybe the human race has a fighting chance...
But, I can't do this all on my own to be fair and honest. However before I end up going down a new civilization will be built up. Zombies will be taken care of and hopefully, Bandits will be ended as their is no negotiating with their faction. We will rebuild and the human race will be stronger than it was. We'll make our own currency to trade for supplies and food. Things will get better but, its going to take alot of time. Please help out with restoring the world to a better state than it is currently. We can do this, otherwise the remaining people of the human race have no shot.
