I one hundred percent would use this on a winger, or shotgun if it became a thing. It looks beautiful.

Appreciate that.
Looks nice, but what I'd like to see is the usage of a phong mask.

Use the alpha layer to highlight the stars (in white), the edges (in gray), and the background (in black) to make the stars look more reflective.

There is already a mask being used on the stars, most evident by the Tomislav, but I could always go back and make everything else a bit duller, as to make them pop more.

However, not many people really brought it up to me when I was originally making it, but if a handful of others also want just the stars to be basically the only shiny part, I'd definitely do that.

Cool. If you do decide to put more emphasis on the phong mask, you can create another showcase with the amputator. Since the surface of the amputator is flat, it is very good at showing off the reflective parts of a weapon.

Oh also, there are two other rather small, misc. suggestions I have.
1. Adding a greater variety of star shapes and sizes (mainly smaller ones) to the gaps and randomize the pattern. Maybe make some of the stars warp across the texture seamlessly?
2. This is pretty subjective based on the look you are going for, but I would like to see a horizontal gradient instead of the middle white glow in the texture. For some reason, it feels a bit distracting and bright, but that might be just me. It might be irrelevant since the textures get bumped up in size anyways. However, on the occasion where the lack of seamlessness is present (like in a non-zoomed pattern), a gradient might do better.

Kinda like this?
===== Darker
--------- Lighter
===== Darker

I'll probably try seeing how it looks w/ what you're suggesting in terms of an actual gradient, but the main "center white/bluish" blob mass was to replicate the Frostbite's mist expanding outwards, and no one really had an issue with it/pointed it out as a possible issue.

I originally had the stars be far smaller, yet a handful more, but it felt overwhelming/too much. Then I expanded them to be bigger, but with less overall.
I could go back and add even smaller ones, but I'll probably try that tomorrow or something, potentially.

Thanks though.

Ah. It was supposed to replicate frostbite.

Well maybe you can add a cloud effect as the horizontal gradient. IDK.

Good work though 👍
I will look forward to any changes made.

In case you'd like to see what the mask actually looks like;

(that should be the right one, at least it's the one I have in my TF files. Have a bunch of different versions I was trying; but yea, if anything I could always reduce the amount on the cloud center itself)

This is very blue. IS there a red version swell?

No, it’s just a singular paint for both teams, since as stated, it’s based off of Frostbite which uses roughly the same colors.
