2. I really wish people would register their IDs.. Extended Stories was not shown on the list of taken liquid IDs, so thats why I chose #34. (https://starbounder.org/Modding:Liquids:Mods)
I'll try to see if liquid IDs can be changed like tile IDs.
Hello, I actually found the problem!
The new liquid ID for this planet is #34. Such as the post before yours, Extended Stories uses this exact same number for "super heated lava", which causes issues for the planet, messing up it's planet sprites. This is because it entirely replaces the Starry Liquid. And since it replaces it, the game thinks that it needs to pull planet sprites for "super heated lava" which most likely does not exist, causing the planet sprite to be out of whack.
A log would tell me a lot that I need to know about fixing any bugs! I can't tell what could be wrong from just pictures, sorry.
With this mod Starry Planets (which I really like the look of btw) I had a strange issue where native aliens/monsters (not capturable aliens like gleaps and nutmidges, etc) changed completely. And only the ground fauna at that. The flying ones stayed the same as without Starry Planets.
I had this issue also with Radioactive Planets and Animals Gone Wild.
I also have Grasslands Planets, Overgrown Planets, and Hypothermic Planets, which I believe are yours, with no issue so far and I enjoy them quite a bit!
Here is the before log without Starry Planets: https://pastebin.com/E98RqxY0
and here is the with Starry Planets log: https://pastebin.com/7bf6yqzu
I hope this helps and you're able to easily solve the issue. I enjoy some of the creatures on my worlds as they are.
Thanks again for making this and other incredible mods and helping gamers like myself and many others!
I've taken a look at both logs.. And.. Wow! One of the cleanest logs I've ever seen! There's practically no errors. Could you describe your problem in more detail? Starbound seems to think it's not an actual problem with "erroring" in its log.
Are you using FU?
