Taking a step away from old mechanics of the game if there adding this gun it must be in a huge update im pdmako lets talk about new weapons mechanics and how TF2 might look like in the future if it looks up to you're expectaitions or not.

alt fire fires a liquid/gas and the player hit with it takes mini crit damage
alt fire takes away ammo
-15% damage
+15% health on wearer
+20% burn time
+30% ammo
wearer takes extra damage under water
+15% alt fire cost
no air blast

No for one i think we need more flame thrower's with no air blast because it make's demo men and soldiers' wanna die in hole and never come out until team fortress 3 if valve is actually going to make it.Kinda like episode three for half life 2.

half life two episode three delayed for 999,999,999,999,999,999,999, months/years.

what if, playing off the pump thing its got going on, youd have to reload it after a bit?
Like-
50% more ammo
-75% clip size
+20% damage

thats a good idea but dont say -75% clip size and +50% ammo since no flame throwers in tf2 have clips say, takes ammo.

Actually the pdmako idea that the flametrower dont airblast,its good, a lot and it makes a lot of sense you know...

I meant more along the lines that it has a 50 clip with 300 spare, as opposed to the current 200 with 0 spare

I can see that as fair but why 50 per clip when it could be a 25 clip size with 75% extra ammo and that could add a secondary that used the spare ammunition.

There isnt a lot of maps with water in them, but what about like this? If they get wet (water, jarate, mad milk, etc.), you lose ammo (-5 ammo every second), and is marked for death.

yeah but think about the maps that do and thats a good idea but i dont like -5 ammo every second and marked for death i really want people using new weapons not like this is something thats just going to be in the void of tf2 after 2 weeks of it being out.
