Thing is, I'm pretty sure that I've copied the relevant parts from the stock xmls in the last update. I've re-uploaded it again - with any luck, it should work this time.

One more thing, an open offer for you and anyone else who reads this:
if you have the time to mess around with the XML, I'd be grateful if you could look into the muzzle flash issue.
Last time I've checked it, the barrel length of the default in-game coilgun was baked into the muzzle flash effect sprite sheet, and no matter how I tried, I couldn't offset it via xml config so it would fit my custom coilgun with much longer barrel. Having run out of patience, I've opted for the next best thing: I've edited the sprite sheet to fit the exact pixel length of my coilgun's barrel.
Even there, the effect had to be configured exactly like original, with the same column/row length, otherwise it wouldn't work. I suspect that there's room for improvement there, but I simply don't have the time to look into it and test it. If you feel up to the task - go ahead. Any improvements you make will be included into the mod to everyone's benefit.
It was back in early September, and at that time nobody bothered with custom coilguns, so nobody knew anything.
