You need scrap metal and a power armor core to repair the power armor.

The ID list is right under the pictures of the mod, it says ID LIST in all caps, has a metal plate and some screws, I know it doesn't look like it, but it is a link to the ID list. It confused me at first too, so don't worry, you aren't alone. Also the stats on the X-01 Power Armor are top tier INSANE, A +70% BUFF TO EXPLOSION ARMOR AND JUST ARMOR IN GENERAL, TIMES 4. 70 x 4 IS 280. YOU GET A 280 BUFF TO ARMOR.

Also I found the X-01 Armor on the Oil Rig and T-65 Arms at Silo-22, so I advise a gasmask if you want to get Power Armor, but then again its not a guarantee you are gonna find any, I have loot tables set to most certainly not vanilla.

Ok so I figured out I am an idiot, the Hellfire armor has a +80% armor buff. That is insane, and the T-65 Armor has a +75% armor buff as well, so quite good all around.
