Known issues
Here is the list of issues that I currently know about:

-game slows down when mega_mob spawns
-Finale events take a LONG time
-Zombies "shuffle" instead of lumbering or walking awkwardly along

and I will try to fix them in this order.

Dead Center: Second Level/ Spec infected spam. Pls stop this...

Hi TEX, so far I am un-able to replicate the SI spam you're talking about. Can you please tell me what settings you are using? i.e. playing from the mutation menu, local server or not, difficulty etc. Then hopefully I will be able to replicate what's happning and figure out what's going on.

My yesterday settings : Local server/ Normal difficult/ and I choose your mod from the mutation menu.
BTW you can manage to spam more infected at the finals ? (or countdown timer is pretty nice, if i know when the wave end) I dont mind if too long but this rate is pretty boring.
Melee head hunting party to me.^^

Interesting because that's the same settings I was using. I only found one special infected, the charger just before the gun shop. Are the zombies moving really slowly for you? Also do you have many other mods installed?

I dunno :D I have a ton of mods.
And sry i make a mistake i met them at the Mall not a Street. At the street no problem for me.

I'm getting Special Infected in the third chapter of Dead Center, the first one in the mall itself. Two Smokers and a Hunter, but my character called out a Jockey and Charger while I was running.
Apart from the one chapter, the others had no SI in them (but their sound callouts would still play), so something broke in the one area.
Apart from that, the slow and shambling zombies have very awkward hitboxes. Sniper rifle with laser sight while crouched frequently missed "guaranteed" headshots because they'd be moving around in odd ways and their head wasn't actually where it looked like it would be.

Yeah same problem here 3 bullets throught there brains and just fourth kill them... Sometimes rly annoying... or you hit them at the brain and they still attacking. with out head :D
But the melee weaponry is rly handy this times so no pain with that too much.

Hey Exile, I was playing this mutation on dark carnival [normal difficulty] and occasionally throughout the campaign I would shoot the head off of a zombie, but it would continue on, without a head. While their headless state was pretty funny, it made it difficult to kill them for good.

Yes I noticed this and I'm not 100% sure why. I have a hunch it's to do with the hit-boxes going a little out of sync with the animations. I need to do some more testing to investigate this further but time is always a problem, and I want to get the SI spawn problem and finales fixed first.

Hello eleCt_eXile I've been haveing special infected spawn on some of the campaigns both custom and regular they are very annoying I don't know the reason for this but I was loving the no specials it made the game feel alot more "Zombie Survival" because of the VAST amounts of the infected taking place of the weird types of special zombies everywhere. I've seen this problem posted by other players and was just wanting to know if you plan on fixing this or iif it is intentional? Otherwise love the mod and especially how it is just a mutation instead of those other mods we're it changes EVERYTHING. I have reposted this here to from the comments.

in certain places, Special Infected will spawn for no apparent reason, such as when you are exiting the Motel in Dark Carnival, or going along the Screaming Oak Rollercoaster, i keep getting pounced by Hunters or grabbed by Smokers, and have yet to complete Dark Carnival becuase of he Special Infected spawning, especially on the Screaming Oak crescendo event

Having a similar issue with the Special infected spam spawns.
Friends and I were playing "Dead Center" on Advanced.
By the end of the game (It was 40 mins for the entire campaign) over 30 smokers, 13 hunters, 11 Jockeys, 23 chargers and 9 spitters. was a Local Server and i've never had any issue with hosting games before on any game.
Also at the gunshop the zombies competely didn't stop spawning you literally could not see the ground whatsoever which caused the game to have a lot of freeze moments.
I am having an issue with the mud zombies in Swamp Fever. The mud zombies do not die from headshots. They can only be killed with explosives and fire.

Third level of dead center hunters, smokers, and chargers started spawning, died to a smoker :steamsad::steamsalty:
