Mod Options (Build 41)
Can´t host a coop server with mods
Whenever i host, it kicks me to desktop saying cannot connect to server whenever i have mod options enabled. any fix?

I get that the TheStar mod is not installed, and I am subscribed to the workshop

Do you have mods enabled?
If you have a failed start and only after it, click Manage Settings in the host tab, click Maps, then add a "map". Not an actual map, but a spawnzone that counts as map (e.g: Tread's Military Vehicle spawns, AZ Spawn, Motorious spawn, etc.) This is done so to not brick the server with maps added or removed mid-save.
Then start the server again. It's a band-aid solution I found out working quite consistently.
Also, another thing to know if the start is gonna fail: If you've already spawned in and progressed quite enough, and starting the server some other time leads you to the pick-spawn screen, that's gonna be a failed start, just press back and then do the band-aid solution.

Also, haven't tested it yet, but a steam friend of mine told me the issue on his end was being caused by a conflict between Filibuster's and Brita's.

It is a mod error, you have to check mod by mod which is affecting the creation of the server. In my case it was the "tread's water tank trucks - FR Firetruck overwrite" mod form the "tread's water tank trucks [41.65+]" mod pack and Filibuster Rhymes' Used cars! entire mod pack.

That's a convincing finding, but I don't crash with those mods, nevertheless, can you point out which part of the console log does it pop up? assuming it's not in the stack trace part because mine doesn't pop up there
Troubleshooting has found that both yacht club and motor club has caused this crash to happen. Disable them, disregard dependencies, and it works.

It might be because Tsar's Library is needed to run those, Tsar's library has been reported to be causing the crash

Same here, when "Mod Options" enabled i can't run server, when disabled - server working fine.

Not entirely sure if order matters... The pic is to remind ppl they have to select the mod(s) in both tabs when hosting... This is the first thing TIS advises that ppl must do when mods are not loading (to which many are unaware)... When a [required] mod fails to load in MP... it kicks you out... Its a suggestion to a common mistake many ppl make.

@Arsenal[26] mod added in both tabs, but all OK if i disabled it. There is conflict with some other/others mod/mods. After 6+ Hrs I'm tired of looking with which one.

I've also spent lots of time testing everything, I've done countless of tests over the span of 3, maybe 4 days. And the closest thing to an answer I get is: it has something to do with the number of mods, there're no clear conflicts because the log says nothing other than it is being terminated. Here are other people's reports:

Tsar's Library (which means, every mod that uses this too)
Filibuster's Used Cars
Tread's Water Truck

But, weirdly enough, I have all of those, and yet it still is a hit or miss, with an occasional crash that requires me to do the bandaid solution I've found which is adding or removing a "map" in the Maps tab of the Server Settings. But DO NOT remove a map, spawn zones count as maps, add or remove those, and with no clear explanation, it will work after a failed start. I don't know if somebody else have replicated it, but it works for me every time and idk why
