I feel like this needs to be discussed as there are many of us facing this same error with no straight forward answer on how to fix it.
The mod was also installed via Steam Workshop and is not a local mod.

When trying to join my own server hosting this as Admin, I am able to load into the server.
When I try joining as a regular user, after the character creation I am presented with that error.

Is the mod needing updating or is there some sort of fix in regards to this?
This was working fine before until the update hit for me personally.

Any suggestions/help would greatly be appreciated.

First, check version of the mod.
I guess clients download the mod not from Steam Workshop.

Both versions are 1.4.2. Always have been the same. What other solutions are there?

uhh, fqhads motorous zone wont work and apparently this mod is used in the mod

You should probably be posting in that mod's discussion board instead of trying to hijack the topic unless you're having the same error.

im having a similar error is all, when i have mod options enabled and fqhwads motorous zone enabled it says connection to the server is lost

Have you tried checking if it works for SP together?

I get the same error, exact. Nothing changed, I even made sure I had the same file as the server, still giving me this error. And the disable lua checksum fix is not an option.

I unsubbed to all mods, deleted the mods folder. Many times, with the same error. Makes no sense, what am I missing?

By removing the mod STALKER Armor pack, the problem was fixed. Senpai send me that info. How are we supposed to troubleshoot, if it gives and error, indicating, that something is wrong with mod options, when in fact another mod making trouble? Sorry Star, for dragging mod options into this

It could be different in your case, but for me I had to remove the STALKER Armor pack to fix my issue. There's some kind of conflict there for some reason.

I would suggest ppl who are having issues, clear out the lower mods folder as shown in the video, and put fresh updated copies of all mods they wish to use in MP... This is also explained to some degree in Authentic Peaches Multi-Player troubleshooting guide.
