How about a sniper that leaves behind a trail of ice or plasma as the bullet travels to its target? And this trail can damage people.

Sound doable but idk about making it a sniper rifle, it would leave a very very long trail. Maybe we could do it on a weapon with shorter range, like shotgun or something.

how about a machine gun that can actually hit stuff or an all-rounder weapon that's pretty good at all ranges

a minigun that can hit stuff would be good too or a large cannon that's actually usable instead of being so heavy your pawns can barely move with it equipped

or a gun that yells when shooting kinda like the bane which is a weapon from borderlands 2 yeah it can get annoying but it'll be funny for some people i know it'll be funny for me if anything it'll be a funny weapon to troll people when raiders come in and shoot it

i also kinda want an armor piercing weapon that actually does good damage cause a lot of modded weapons with really good armor piercing also have low damage to make it less OP

the machine gun maybe. Also. the sound gun. The armor piecing gun would be very interesting to see tho :).

i'd also like some tranq weapons that actually have decent range unlike the tranquilizer guns mod i won't say that mod is bad but the range on the weapons is horrible so having good tranq weapons to knock down enemies easier would be awesome a tranq assault rifle would be really cool

also a weapon that does burn damage or frostbite damage or being able to switch between both would be pretty cool too ps the frostbite damage and burn damage on weapons has been done before so i know it's possible

That what Celsius does basicially. Plasma damage burns, while Stasis is inflicting frostbite.As for tranquilizer guns, we already have poison/toxic based weapons on our todo list.
