my question is can you make a mod where when you die your player model changes into a zombie player model so that's when you know THEY GOT YOU

Your best bet is to look into Sourcemod plugins for that sort of thing. Outside of that, you're out of luck.

a suggestion for this puro common infect mod is to add gore for the chainsaw, i for example cut a leg off with the chainsaw and it turns into a normal zombie leg.

as if being forced into spectator mode and the game literally saying "you are dead" doesnt drive the point home enough
