Using some of the treasures to make special weapons (or armor)
Having some of the treasures being items that quest giving npcs could ask for and reward you with a loot bag from the mod.
more spell tomes. The ones that are in are really good and useful (especially the healing and energy zone tomes) I just think that having more tomes would be a good idea. Would like to see some new spells added in if you ever figure out how to pull that off. I.E. a spell tome that does something like a Chain Lightning effect.
Maybe add in some special bows if possible and more weapons in general because the game doesn't have enough of those as is.

No I don't know how to make mods I imagine it's really hard
Context: I feel like there are a lot of things in starbound that you only see one side of, like smuggling is, as far as I can tell you can't do the smuggling yourself.
But what if you could do an incredibly dangerous smuggling mission to get 90% or even %100 percent profit?
Then you would have to balance risk/reward. (I just feel like it would be more interesting)

Also - maybe add some trophy-like decor for story missions? Those are left awfully plain by Chucklefish, I mean, I get it that we're doing them to further the plot, but having some memento to brag about would also be nice
