RNW with Extended Timeline
Absolutely loving this mod (can barely play any playthrough without it nowadays) but I always play with custom nations and RNW. Which worked fine when I last played in EU4 version 1.28 or 1.29, yet now in 1.31.3, I noticed RNW creation is disabled past January 1st, 1, even though the first year available is 2.

So I messed with the et_defines.lua, set the MAX_RANDOM_NEW_WORLD to 9999.12.31, and now my game just crashes, assuming there's a reason you've intentionally disabled RNW creation with Extended Timeline.

If so, may I ask why, and also request to up the priority of development/bugfixing to getting RNW compatible again?
To me the game just becomes so much more fun with RNW.

Thanks in advance,
~ Sirion

The answer to why it was disabled is because it causes the game to crash.

As for trying to fix it, I don't know how.

Damn it... That figures...
Thanks a ton for the fast reply!

Do you know exactly which version it started to happen on? I'm willing to rollback to older versions in order to play with both Extended Timeline and RNW. If I remember correctly, on 1.28 it still worked as that's around the time I last played EU4.

Also, was the Extended Timeline released already for EU4 version 1.12/1.13? If so, could you perhaps send me the mod files compatible with that version as well so I can use it with Haftetavenscrap's Random Map Generator? I've tested it with just that Random Map loaded and no additional mods on 1.12 and works fine. Would be kickass to use that with Extended Timeline!

The last version RNW worked with was for game patch 1.29

There is a version of Extended Timeline for 1.12, but I can't give it to you here. It's available on the Paradox forums though.
