HRE stuck with Chalcedonian
Any way to change the religion of the HRE?

Context-
I am playing a save using the extended timeline mod so I'm in 1017 right now and the HRE formed before Chalcedonian was reformed to Orthodox and Catholic so Chalcedonian became the dominant faith. After the reform it remained the dominant faith. No provinces in the world are Chalcedonian. Because of this, the HRE is bugged and there can't be any electors because electors have to be of the dominant faith in the HRE, so the imperial authority is stuck at zero.

This has actually happened to me twice now so I am curious for an answer.

This should be fixed in the next update.

as a temporary fix, you can save your game with the "Compress Savefile" check unticked and edit the savefile with a notepad tool, search for hre_religion=yes and change that to be in the desired religion.
