Before this update, the engine would shift gears at like 2500 rpms which is way too high. If it were to stay this way, then there would be more stops to the gas station. Now the engine will shift at 1200 to 1500 RPMs on low power demands. Now, of course, if you're running the game with the adaptive transmission, you can floor it and get it to shift to 2600 RPMs. That's probably not the most realistic thing to do, but if you're mad at the AI, the power is there in case you need it.
