Basic Information on Alemia Gameplay
Welcome ! We understood that a slight boost to the players was needed.

But beware, here you will be spoiled for some of the discoveries of our content.
And, it is important to know that it will be much more pleasant to discover this project in a few months once the "official" release has been announced (which should take place by the end of July).

Basic Information
Some mechanics do not work in solo game unfortunately, so i don't recommend to play on local game, only on server.

Alemia is a RP based map, so it will be a lot harder then classic ARK.

Dinos
We remap all dinos IA, so be carefull, a lot of thing can be strange for you, but totally normal in Alemia : Parasaur can attack you when you are too close. A group of Gallimimus can drive a lonely carno away.

Agressiv taming don't exist here, you can only find eggs and tame babys (always lvl 10). But those one can gain levels up to lvl 150.

No flyers are rideable here (no saddle on engrams).

Harvest
The most basic thing to know on Alemia is :
Pick for rock (silex, stone, obsidien, cristal, metal, gems)
Axe for tree (thatch, wood, woodlog)
Knife for Creature (Hide, meat, feather, fur)
Sickle for fibers.

For harvest Metal (with a stone pick) you need at least 100% dmg.

Player Pawn
We rework the classic ARK character to have a "more real" human in this adventure.
So you start with :
HP : 60 (+10/lvl)
Stam : 40 (+10/lvl)
Oxy : 40 (+20/lvl)
Food : 60 (+12/lvl)
Water : 60 (+12/lvl)
Weight : 60 (+10/lvl)
Dps : 60 (+5%/lvl)
Speed : 100% (but you gain almost nothing on lvl up)
Crafting skill : 60 (+5%/lvl)
Fortitude : 0 (+2/lvl)

If your character reaches a certain hit point threshold, he will fall to the ground, unconscious and invincible. You will have the choice to stay alive and wait for a friend to heal you (with potions, food, etc.). Or you can suck and reappear on the Altars (bed like).

Press F3 to see the Sucide Menu when you are unconscious.

Engrams
Alemia is on Medieval Age. So not tek, no industrial thing or gun.
We remove a lot of engram and add news one for each Job.

We add :
New tools
New structures
New "smithy" for each job
New food
New Alchimic recipes
And a lot of modification of any crafting cost.

Job System
Actually, the job system super simple.
12 table, each one contains craft of the job. Only one engram needed.
Job list :
Wood Worker (for all wood structure)
Stone worker (for all stone structure)
WarBlacksmith (for weapons)
ToolWorker (for tools)
Armorer (for armor)
Tracker (for hunting tools)
Chef (for food)
Alchimist (for potion and alchemic things)
Saddler (for saddle)
Breeder (for breeding tool)
Engeneer (for big weaponry and special craft)
Rune Master (for special Runes)

We are just starting to work on all those jobs, so you will find a lot of missing things on thoses ones.

But we are creating new mecanics for each job. So lets wait and see !

Thanks for you attention !

I hope you are interested in this project and that you will follow its evolution as it goes.

To the next time in Alemia.

My worry is that if you do not have a server pop large enough for someone to have each job what do you do?
-Can you add in a way to specify max number of jobs a person can have?
-If you switch from jobs do you lose any progression?

Job are only crafts. You don't "level up" jobs. So you can change anytimes you want.
