Recommended Server Setup
Hello !

Several of you have contacted me to find out what we recommend as a mod and as a server configuration to take advantage of the Alemia adventure.

So !
Lets do it.

Ini and Alemia mod installation

GameUserSettings

[Alemia]
SwitchJobs=True
True : Allow player to change job.
False : Player can only choose one job.



Mod Order !!

Alemia MOD need to be in first position. This is ultra important.

XP, Tame, Harvest

We made the map so that the tame, harvest and xp ratios are playable in X1. So if you want to experience the adventure as we thought it would be. Would not change a thing.

Breeding
When it comes to breeding, remember that the choice is yours. We have redesigned the entire breeding system. So x1 is good for any server who wants to experience the true adventure of Alemia.


Choice of mods?
Currently I don't recommend adding complex mod. Adding mods like ECO series mods (decoration mods) for example is a good idea.

As for mods that change gameplay a lot and dinosaurs it is more than likely that nothing will work and your game will be impossible.

Stacking mod a a problem on Alemia. We change all ressources and those stacking mod replace them by vanilla one.

Why ?
We're changing the harvesting system (so any other mod's tools won't work).
We're changing the dinosaur AI and using 100% custom spawn areas.
We are changing the classic tame techniques (few berries, few narco berries, no aggressive tame so it will be difficult to put dinosaurs to sleep).

The only additional mod I would consider adding would be Splus and like Castle Keeps and Forts. Would those work alright?

I was looking your stream ! And i din't see the S+ mod on your messages. S+ will not work propely. You will not have any crash but, a lot of S+ mecanics are not working on Alemia.
(and i don't think its nice to add S+ to Alemia but you can try it for us :D !)

So far it is working just fine so there is that lol As I said in the DM on discord it is more about the pulling feature and for some storage items. Have not used the building stuff as we do want to enjoy the map and mod as they are. But it could be nice to just mix and match them together once we get fully into the map.

I run a server from Arkserver.io and im unable to have both the map and mod file at the same time as it states that one is already installed? i can run it on solo with both map and mod but not on the server. Please help

Same as above, Arkservers.io will not let us have both Alemia Mod and Map.

All I know about this kind of problem. It's that a MAP mod doesn't install like a regular mod :)
At the host I use, you have to add a file named MapModID.txt (with the name of the map in it ---> Alemia_P) in addition to putting the Alemia MOD in the first position and the Alemia MAP after.
The "automatic" server installers tend not to respect the initial order and it's up to you to change this.

What I would advise is to take the time to make the .INI manually for the mods.

Go Mods:
-Install Alemia MOD and then go to Options drop down and uncheck map.
-Install Alemia MAP in second slot and go to Options and check map.
I am also using the My Medieval Home mod since it goes with Alemia.

My Medieval Home is a standalone mod (for server on other maps) :) All MH structure are already in Alemia Project. You don't need the MH mod.
