Personally, I feel the curve is too exaggerated, it gives the feel of a sentient hand axe more than the Khopesh that it's inspired by. The curve goes out so far, and the inside of the curve is filled out too. If you blur your eyes, or look at it quickly, it has the feel of a 1 handed axe on a sword hilt.

To the war comparison by -Kavat_Keeper_666, in the comments, I also agree. ( the energy blade shape is too uniform). However, I'd suggest going a step further into War territory. The war's energy blade adds a lot to the overall length of the whole sword, and I feel that could be used to great effect here.

On the Aten, Because of how much room the white/red material AND the energy blade need to have to BOTH be in the curve, I'd suggest making the white/red stop just after the first big curve of the blade( near the hilt, under the 'orb' ), then do the iconic and more subtle sweep of a real life Khopesh blade in pure energy blade.
