Is it just me, or are the mod ships woefully underpowered against vanilla stellaris enemies?

I feel it's a bit...weird for a fleet of Star Destroyers to be getting molested by a bunch of semi-sentient shiny rocks

I thought that. Ive had a superstar destroyer take about 20 minutes at the fastest speed to take down a few pirates

It's because most of the fleet power comes from its fighters, in classical SW fashion.
