Starting Conditions
Can someone give advices for starting conditions already?
I am a casual stellaris player with a medium machine (i5-6600k, Radeon rx480 8gb).
Is the 1300systems map playable in the endgame or would you rather commend the 800system map? What habitable Planet setting did you choose? And what faction is good for Beginners that does not necessarily want to focus on Planet Administration only? ;)
And should I choose a scaling difficulty or not?
Thanks for all answers; I am happy for every advice I can get from players that are a few hours into the Mod already.

if you don't mind some lag at end-game, you can play the large map, but maybe medium or small would be better with your specs
as for habitable worlds settings i personally always play on 25%, due to balance more than performance, but it DOES help performance a lot to select lower settings there
Never use scaling difficulty, it makes the game too easy
