Multiple Moon Maps and Raids

I have two moon maps in my current run showing up and each one is getting rather crowded with random events and raids. NPCs only clear out when they starve to death and I believe it is impacting my game performance. Is there anyway to remove the moon maps completely until I "view" them from the dish again?
