While I absolutely love the mod, since its more in-depth than the vanilla game, while attempting to keep it historically accurate ( or least have the means to be )

I have some grievances

the very first is how some events are still forced upon you in some countries, despite your best efforts. Example, I tried to play the USA and siding with Japan, literally, I was lend leasing to them, even sent volunteers to help with their war with china. literally sent them 50% of my oil production, improving relations to the point I even got military access that further helped me fight china as I even declared war to them. Yet, the moment it became december 7th 1941 ( or around ) I got the event that Pearl Harbor was bombed by the japanese, and it instantly declared war for me on Japan.

So all that effort wasted to befriend Japan. :I After all, the SOLE reason why japan bombed pearl harbor was because of the embargo on oil because the USA did not condone the china expansion of Japan. Yet on that run, I literally helped them, fueled their war, helped their war. Still got bombed for no reason.

A second grievance comes from the dynamic focus tree. I understand how it changes depending on events, but once again, if I take that playthrough with the USA, the fact that the tree kept reseting ( or changing ) whenever FDR was re-elected kinda grind my gears, cause I was making good progress on the previous tree and I was about to reach certain goal I wanted, only to be swipped away under my nose. another variation of the grievance is events-locked choices in the tree, such as the japanese Go-Stop incident.

I had no idea that this event would affect what I can go for in the tree, and I couldnt roll back from decision made when I wanted to go a certain route. It would have been nice to have a warning such as "this event affects the tree" so now because I didn't know, I'm forced down a path I didn't want to take in the first place.
