Animations Questions?
Maybe I shouldn't be so nosey, or so skeptical. But I am!

The biggest issue I see with a gun model like this, is it would need custom animations to deal with the issue of the clip.

I thought it would be neat if the auther could shed some light on that, and asking in the comments section is all but a lost cause thanks to the "add it now valve :D:" spam that floods those.

Is the auther or a partner of theirs is working on animations right now and they aren't done yet?

Maybe somebody at valve will take care of it? Is it still too early to worry about it?

Is it more complicated than I'm making it out to be?

Great work on the model by the way. Promo images are pretty snazzy as well.

It could easily use the pomson animations thanks to the lever it has on the side

I think they'll do like what they did with the Pomson.
Animation in First Person, no Animation in Third.
That would be easier.

So, what gun is it supposed to be? It reminds me of a Maxim, or some British MG (I forgot the name to...) in WWI.

Maybe even a Bren with the Magazine on the bottom end of the reciever instead of the top.

I can't quite make it out. :(

Also, I'm interested in some animations for this weapon, hopefully the Author will come up with some instead of having Valve do anything about it, Valve does things right, but they usually take the easy way out. :l

The pompson has NO 3rd person animations still.

You should make animations by hand, wouldn't be all that hard, might take about an hour, or does Valve not allow players to make animations with their models? (I'm curious, when I upload something I don't want to put effort into things they wouldn't accept) :p

When you reload the engi should flip the weapon around his finger/hand discard the used ammo case and slot one back in. It would look awesome!
