Saving the game
Is there a way to save the progress? or will there be a option in a future?

It's not possible to save game in user-made projects. Ideally, you want to beat the game every time you play!

You could also just pause the game minimize it and do something else

We've been trying to talk to Techland about implementing a lot of stuff from the base game into the developer tools for literal years. Trust us, we've tried haha

Unfortunately i have to agree, yes the map is impressive, you have done a marvellous job, but im afraid its just way too challenging at this point, i dont know how much time it is planned for to finish the whole thing, but no save option with only 2 lives, no map to have any idea about the place, it is just too demanding for me right now. And im afraid it may be discouraging for others too. I understand you have no possibility to give us a save progress option but in this case the difficulty i found in this mod without saving, map, any idea where is what, is just too high. I tried just once for now, but i guess after starting over 10th time it may discourage players that arent true hardcore. Heck i dont even know if ill really try again untill some updates are released that make it a bit more playable. Because for now, game starts at night, no idea where to run, volatiles everywhere, hordes are really a bit too big in my opinion too, so basicaly 1st life you lose before you can really find a safe zone. I understand you wanted to make a difficult and challenging game but im afraid you probably went too extreme with it. Everything comes to this, no save option and only 2 lives. It should determine the difficulty of game. Developers made a big hype for this mod but i feel a bit disappointed and discouraged at this point, im sorry. Hopefuly future updates will make it more reasonable. Plus yeah medkits that give 20 health must be a bad joke.

Just to clarify - there is a maximum of 3 lives

Every time you start the game, it should be day time. If you have been having a bug where you start the game and it's nighttime, would you be willing to film the issue and send it to us? I've never encountered this issue.

We have been informed by many players that City of Corlina is too challenging. I intend to make the beginner mode easier for those who are still finding it tough.

First of all, really great map. makes fun and there are always other ways to play. Which unfortunately also leads me to the negative part. My friend and I are explorers, we take our time and always explore the map carefully and in order to fully exploit all the options that are given in the game, we need significantly longer than 2 hours to play through and since there are unfortunately no memory options, that does no sense!

We would really like to continue playing the map, but in any case a storage option must be introduced!

Not quite sure what you mean by a 'storage option.' If you are referring to saves, its already been stated in this thread that saves are not currently possible in custom maps, and neither is enabling the mini-map. Also, the map is meant to be played more than once, hence all of the classes and randomized events. If you really want saves, unfortunately you'll have to go and ask Techland to give us that ability, even though we've already been trying that for years.

There is a way, i can tell that i know how to load save files INTO the custom map. That means we can some how make the save function unlocked. Another thing, in 1.2.1 version developers removed some files that would be useful for modding, those files are related to - Developer tools, ingame map editing, cheat mode, debugconf reading. Yet, debugconfig is still readable in custom map so, look closer into it, inspectate that file. It holds too much secrets. If you need my help with that info, contact me - GrayParadox#7669 (Discord)
