Dying Light

Dying Light

CITY OF CORLINA
Realism Difficulty
Has anyone been able to beat this difficulty level? If so how did you do it? The main challenges I've struggled with is health replenishment since you can't rely on resting to regenerate health, medkits are quite weak in this mod. I've tried running the medical professional or chef for that sweet 100/150 health knowledges but since items don't respawn you are on the clock. If you raid a military outpost or pharmacy that's it for the rest of the game. The other issue is how important map knowledge is and how damn thick volatile activity and mobile (they actually hop on buildings unlike old town in the base game) the volatiles are They aren't kidding about it being brutally difficult. Shout out to developers super cool mod you've created; dying light should hire you guys.

Thanks Tangent. I'll give you some tips:

1. The FIsherman is awesome for healing items. You should learn where the fishing spots are on beginner though before you try in Realism. I need to update the Fishing spots to making them more obvious. They are randomized so sometimes they are active and sometimes they are not

2 The Electrician can craft IEDs - useful when trying to do the final Sample Recovery missions

3. Use flares to block the entrances of looting areas. So if you need health, go to a pharmacy and use a UV flare to block the front so Volatiles don't follow in behind.

I want to better balance the game as a whole. I know how difficult it is at the moment. I want to improve the looting system and shop system so players are more likely to find or buy the items they need!

Glad you are enjoying the challenge Realism mode has to offer!
