CK3 feudalism mechanic doesn't fit the period
Having to juggle titles and claims breaks the immersion and scope of the time period. This should the biggest change in focus imo for this mod. Forget everything else, the people of the bronze age had numerous other issues to deal with..

this is the major reason, I’m not sure that CK3 is the right framework for a Bronze Age game. Bronze Age empires ware way more urbanised and centralised compared to medieval kingdoms. Although at some point the pharaohs started giving land to some of their close family, this was tied more to the right to establish a personal cult where the people in the area will treat them like a god/goddess. In feudal times, the lord was a protector of his realm while in Egypt, they ware literally deities to be adored. This scheme also doesn’t translate to other empires like Sumer, which ware much more urbanised and each city had its own king that served as a vassal of the emperor if there was one at the time.

I really hope they address those issues before carrying on, because if they don’t, this will unfortunately be just a medieval game with a Bronze Age skin :)

Yeah its what keeps me from playing anymore. I thought that woulda been the first change, direct rule over your entire realm, dependant on culture, and some sort of succession that isnt jut medieval succession. its so easy to be emperor in 1 generation. And like you said Dan, in Sumer every city had its own "king". i wish the mod actually replicated that, thats the bronze age ♥♥♥♥ i wana deal with yaknow?

If you've played ck2 AGOT, you'd know about the wildling succession, where if your heir wasn't' good enough you lost your realm, i wana see something like that, where strong rulers can challenge the king or emperor on succession. as of right now its just too easy.

You posted this only a couple of weeks after release. Hold your horses and calm down. Just don't play and not get into a strop like a child :)
