Can I not start as revenant unless I do a custom character?

I read somewhere, that you're supposed to be able to select revenants from the "Hunter and Hunted" tab, but I only have "Dark Ages : Inquisitor", "Mummies" and "Demons" there. Did revenants get removed at some point?
