Vassals keep killing each other
Is there a way to stop your vassals from killing each other? I find named lore characters the most interesting part of this mod, but no matter what, they all die in the end and get replaced by generic ones. I know scheming and murdering is essential part of CK3 and WoD lorewise, but I just want to keep the cool vassals around(like rare pokemons). Maybe some kind of other mod to stop that, or make certain ones unkillable?

First, I'm very happy to hear when people enjoying the lore buttons. It's a big part of the "passion" part of this passion project for me. So thanks for that.
For the actual question... not that much. CK3 is very murdery. Perhaps keeping a more homogenous realm could help (same religion) or keeping the interesting characters as courtiers instead of vassals (less important, so less targeted). If all else fails, you could simply disable the murder character interaction in your mod folder. This is likely the cause of a vast majority of these deaths.

Your experience surely contradicts mine. There was scheming turmoril before the latest update, but now things are -extremely- calm. I played for about 700 years split between few playthroughs and lost maybe 2 or 3 unimportant vassals. Did you try to keep them alive through in-game means?

Karde has basics covered, keeping the faith true and ruthlessly weeding out infidels is critical for vassal management. Also, I don't keep vassals with intrigue education on count level and above. Schemers gonna scheme, don't let them.

Don't keep vampire as spymaster. Remove sinful and infamous traits before landing characters once you have these abilities and don't land them until you don't. Beautify and add likeble/virtous traits to low diplomacy vassal kings if needed. When playing unlikable clans like Baali and Nosferatu don't overexpand to avoid placing your ugly clanmates over lower tier vassals who are going to dispise them. Police key characters with the mask of empathy, removing dangerous rivalries. Don't overdo, if high provess character has low intrigue baron as rival, it's all harmless fun and will keep them occupied. Would be worse if they find equaly important peer out of boredom and kill them in a duel before you even notice. Again, everything past schemers is kinda overkill at the moment, vassals I care about don't die, vassals I care not about don't die either.

PoD is extremely rich with all kinds of tools to shape and mold your vassals to whatever you want them to be. Use them.

How can we "disable the murder character interaction"? Sorry, i have no idea how that can be done. Is there a game option for that or a mod? Thank you! :)

That would require a modification of a file yes. Most likely adding is_ai = no the murder character interaction file is_shown bracket.
