Yes. Unless they were embraced that way. Alway get a nice haircut before joining the undead.

My vamp just got Lover's Pox after picking up the Rakish trait due to a stress event. Nice.

Yeah, sounds like a bug. In the lore vamps can spread disease quite easily but are not affected themselves - unless it´s a magical disease. Herpes isn´t magical, though.
