Royal Court events and flavor mechanic ideas
I would really like to see more flavour events for the Royal Court. Surprisingly, there are no mods that do this. Since you're the best event and flavor modder for CK3, I'd like to ask you if you'd be interested in adding Royal Court flavor events and how I could help you. I have no experience in modding, but in translating mod files and writing. Also, maybe you could rewrite and fix the legend texts. But back to my main appeal, which I have a few ideas for.

Royal Court events:
  • Judiciary and conflict resolution: The ruler decides on disputes and legal matters, whether between vassals or between serfs and nobles.
  • Vassal and feudal obligations: Conflicts over fealty, misbehaviour by vassals, or disputes over land and claims to power.
  • Cultural or religious tensions: The court as a site of conflict between different cultures, religions and traditions.
  • Gifts and tributes: Supplicants bringing gifts or demanding tribute. Guests might ask for favours for special deeds or advice.
  • Intrigues and conspiracies: Vassals or courtiers plotting, the ruler involved in secrets or betrayal.
  • Art and culture: Bards and artists seek recognition and patronage for their work.
  • Serfs and lower classes: Peasants and commoners bring their concerns to the king, be it complaints about excessive taxes, abuse by local nobles or natural disasters.
  • Festivals and celebrations: A bard wishes to organise a great feast in honour of the king, or a guest brings special food.
  • Nature and Wonders: Strange natural phenomena, animals or supposedly supernatural events that fascinate or disturb the court.
  • Medieval holidays and festivals: Central social events where the entire population, from the humblest peasant to the highest noble, came together to celebrate religious, political or seasonal occasions. These celebrations could be triggered every few years, depending on the season, culture and religion of the ruling authority.

Flavor mechanics:
  • Canonization Mechanic: Similar to the title mechanics, there could be a function through which particularly pious or outstanding characters (e.g., rulers, priests, or warriors) are canonized after their death. This could be based on their piety, charitable deeds, martyrdom, or other exceptional actions.
  • Miracles and Visions: Patron saints or saints could perform visions or miracles in certain situations. For example, a patron saint might appear in a dream and offer a hint about an impending threat or opportunity.
  • Holy Interventions: In rare cases, a saint or patron saint might intervene in the game, healing an illness, aiding in battle, or averting a natural disaster.
  • Blessings of War: Before important battles, rulers could seek the blessing of a saint or patron saint. This could temporarily boost troop morale or health.
  • Patron Saint Feast Days: Players could hold festivals in honor of their realm’s patron saints, which could increase the ruler’s piety, reduce unrest, or boost the satisfaction of the nobility.
  • Pilgrimages to Holy Shrines: Players could embark on pilgrimages to particularly significant holy shrines to gain additional piety and prestige. These could be accompanied by unique events and challenges, similar to military campaigns or diplomatic missions.
  • Holy Shrines: Players could build special shrines or cathedrals dedicated to a particular saint or patron saint. These shrines would increase the reputation of the region, attract pilgrims, and generate income through donations or special events.
  • Relics and Saintly Bones: Relics of saints could be introduced as special items in the game, offering players specific bonuses. These could be found in special events, acquired, or earned through quests. Relics could also be sold or gifted to other rulers to improve diplomatic relations.
