When the rooms are aligned and you try to make for example a 2 story building with floors above each other, the physmesh of the buttom room will slightly go into the top room and you will seemingly randomly go up a step when in the top room because you are actually stepping on the bottom room. In my build this is happening with the two orange rooms and all the floors are perfectly aligned. https://imgur.com/qfAhTaI
