Up until now, all of the image edits in the No Smoking Pack have been kept very close to the source material. I decided to do something different with the Community Card Pack 3 release by implementing a placeholder icon instead.

There are two reasons why I chose to do this for the time being. First, I was able to prepare the placeholder icon ahead of time, allowing me to update this mod more quickly. Second, I had gotten a lot of heat the last time I tried editing community artwork, and I didn't want to run into any further trouble. The placeholder art that I'm using is sourced from Flying Red Barrel and hasn't been modified other than by cropping and resizing, so I figured it was a relatively safe option.

As far as alternatives for the artwork, I decided against using any of the runner-ups from the contest, because that might be seen as showing favoritism to a particular contest entry. I believe that if you want to have a runner-up artwork in the game, it should be as a separate mod. I'm also open to actually implementing a smoke-free version of the winning artwork, but only in a way that gains approval from the original artist.
