IIRC Kae also sometimes bonks people with a grenade as a melee weapon, that might work

K checked AOS2 and suguri for a second, didn't see the grenade attack (although one of her attacks is a kamikaze explosion, so I might have just remembered wrong)
but, she does throw red kunai and also can shoot red crescent pulse waves as an attack too, and finally one of her attacks is hurling a clone of herself at you, which would mean kae poppo would just use another kae poppo next to her as an attack
