I always use Ragdoll Resizer when I play with models, but when I try it with Mayday, the game crashes.

as stated previously, Source won't allow big models to have facepose. the alternative for now is using bones to move the face parts.

My friend cannot see anything, he got the addon, and the requirements but still nothing. Does it need a game? CS:GO, TF2, etc.

No, doesn't need a other game, sometimes steam fails to download, he'll need to unsub and resub to it
