Stats? v2
With the name "Russian Roulette" many people keep suggesting luck based stats such as:
Increased Random crits chance, Small chance to cause self-inflicted damage, only firing bullets 16% of the time and so on.
Luck is something really dumb in TF2, we have all been there when suddenly when figthing a scout he just gets a random critical scattergun non-point-blank shot distance at you. You get (kinda) frustrated.

Stat wise we could make this weapon the polar opposite of the Family Business:

-83% clip size (1 bullet)
+20% Increased damage
-150% reload speed
+Can reload while not active.

Or make this weapon not live up to it's name and make it a candy cane look alike:

+Drops a small health pack if someone is killed
or
+Converts 30% of damage into health

Or even make its name a "warning":

+20% Increased damage
- Use health as ammo
- Every shot consumes 20 ammo

Be crative, leave good suggestions that are NOT luck based.

Give it a 5% chance of one hit kill and the other 95% do 50% damage maybe?
You might think this is luck based, but in my opinion it's balanced, and not really too luck based.

fast reload speed

1 Shot in magazine
+
Low max ammo

Perhaps:
-83% clip size
130% Reload Speed
+30% damage
6 to 15 max ammo

how about it loads faster but the bullets themselves have a random effect?
Like one might ignite someone,knockthem back,not fire at all,bleed them, or drop health for you!

The idea of it using health sounds good in my opinion.

Anything that has a "chance" is luck based. It doesn't matter if it its a 50/50 chance or 1% chance. If it isn't consistent it is luck based.

Perhaps it could have 1 bullet in the chamber, and do more damage (+33%). On crits it deals 2x damage, but it has a 50% chance of inflicitng all said damage upon the wielder.

that sounds like a really bad idea, that would be so op its not even funny. :spycon:
and btw that is luck based if it has to do with percentages

how about 1 bullet in a clip and a hole lot more damage. less max ammo. +10 health
Knowing Valve's additude with TF2 these days IF they even put in a new weapon, My guess is they would give it something like "+10% damage -50% clip size" It would be pretty underwelming at best.

That is so OP it's not even funny, also the poster of this discussion said no luck based suggestions.
