centuria formation
guys, i recreated the centuria formation from scratch. I need help on stats. I was thinking making it a bit difference from the wedge in terms of offense/defense. Like make it a better formation for defense than wedge but less lethal. what do you say

I think this is a great idea. Centuria formation should be less effective but more defensive than the wedge formation. Furthermore, I think you should remove the armor bonus that you included in the previous Centuria formation. Instead give it a melee defense bonus, bracing and no extra buff to attack or bonus attack.

I really like your mod, it gives tactical formations that makes sense for this era. My legionaries finally feel roman!

no the armor bonus should stay < i mean that was one of the purposes of making a heavy shield wall .... i think the stats should be kept the same as they were before , everyone else seemed to like it that way

i go with lord of the games. its about defensiveness. but well, shieldwall indeed gives a bit of an armour bonus too i´d say, not only melee. anway, just damn happy we have your great mod back! last thing: fire at will, will you keep it in this mod, so we can forget about the one "@ fire at will"? thanx buddy, awesome job you do for us!

I think that just a melee defence buff would be best for Centuria formation. As far as I can tell, armor helps reduce damage from missiles, whiich is what we have Testudo for. Centuria is for dealing with melee units, and holding them in line untl reinforcements can arrive. that's my two cents anyways.
