same question. I'm afriad i think these are not installable unless you get a free-drop in-game or buy from marketplace. Earlier in 1.6 and cz you could just download and install skins from game banana etc but only you could see your custom skins, others would see you holding a normal gun. But at least it was an open system of custom weapons you could do anytime. Now it seems valve is greedy and wants people to "buy" stuff like this.

i think valve should do a compromise between the old and the new system. It should allow us to install this skin right away if we want, but only the player who downloads/installs the skin will be able to see this on the gun. Once Valve sees that a particular skin is being installed by 1000s of players it can put it up in the store. The players who installed it before it became "official" will get it free. Others will get it through drops/buying but after being official everyone can see the skin on your gun.

that's gay...just ways to make money off the games instead of letting players build their own collections using their own creativity.

they could have launched a simple custom-skin builder with spray and draw tools in the game, i bet the number of skins being developed would have been 100x that way because everyone would at least try and make a few custom skins. Designers could upload photoshop artwork or formatted image files. This current system is not so good. It's weird because earlier people installed custom skins for free. However they have added a function - now everyone can see the custom skin you have. So like i said before, let people install all skins but until they pay/earn it only they can see it. Afterwards other players in the server can also see the custom skin. But the free one can only be seen by the player who installs.

There is no thing such as DLing custom skins. If you are unsatisfied with that, No one is forcing you to play this game. Also you can make your own succsessfull FPS Game with custom skins. No offense I just think its wierd that you complain on ♥♥♥♥ like this. The bigest problem on GO is the 64 tick servers.

Unfortunately you cannot just install or download these beautiful sickkkk skins.. You have to wait for valve to release these, most probably in cases. I don't blame Valve for trying to make money off this. thats CAPITALISM for you. Asiimov M4 was a skin created by a user and now available for people to unbox/buy. What I would like to know is if Valve is somehow compensating these gun skin makers? If they are not, then thats sad. I wish somehow the makers of these fantastic skins get compensated in some way or another. Otherwise I have to agree, Valve is being greedy. Still Good job on all these skins.. Good LUCK
