Hey guys, I've closed the Update #4 discussion for now based on 2.0 being dropped. I'm back at it picking away at new features and content...

I have a lot of QoL items I want to address the overall feeling of the game still. Here is a list of items I'm working on for this update. I will add more to this list as I go. Not all items on this list may be completed for the initial release of update #5.

Balancing or Fixes please use the Discussion for Balancing.

Planned Content/Additions:
  • [Done] Update the remaining functions/bugs for 2.0 update
  • Update current ship/station designs for 2.0 mechanics
  • Update Player Scrapyards to allow "Buying Wrecks" from NPCs
  • Update Player Scrapyards to allow "Selling Licenses" to NPC Scrappers.
  • Update Boss Swoks kill counter and mechanics to be centered on the Player
  • Update Boss Swoks to become harder the more you kill him.
  • [Done] Update Ice Mines and Ore Mines so the designs are split
  • Update Latchers to Die/Leave after a period of time when the reclaimer is dead.

  • Add more ship designs ...
  • [Done] Add ability to Replace Gate via the Global Faction Packs
  • Add Background Simulation: Random Patrols.
  • Add Background Simulation: Factory Traffic/Cargo Lifts (per factory)
  • Add Background Simulation: Scrap Tugs cleaning populated sectors. This should work as a step in the right direction to balance the Salvaging mechanics.
  • Add Background Simulation: Repair & Recovery ships to fix up sectors post-battle
  • Add Background Simulation: Various types of Sector Traveling (Gates, Jumps etc...) using haulers and other civilian vessels.
  • Add Layered asteroids with multiple ore types.
  • Add new asteroid shapes, scales, and combinations
  • Add a better replacement for the container fields
  • Add New Event: Meteor Showers

Completed Update # 5.1 (09.11.2021):
  • Salvage Command: Fixed the AI Command not Salvaging for Player-owned Scrapyards.
  • Quantum Xsotan: Fixed the Quantum Hyperspace Animation
  • Equipment Dock: Added 2 tabs for spawning more turrets (Global Drop Pool)
  • Equipment Dock: Added Various tabs for dedicated turret sales
  • Lady Adventurous: Updated the new tutorial script to use the Fighter/Miner/Hauler spawns

Completed Update # 5.2 (09.26.2021):
  • Completely Rebuilt the Ship Generator
  • Completely Rebuilt the Plan Generator
  • Made the Plan Generator more Modular: Faction, Volume, Classes are divided out.
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Civilian Ships
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Salvagers
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Cargo Drones
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Passenger Transports
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Ice Mines
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Huge Freighters
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Huge Miners
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Travel Hubs
  • Updated Plan Generator - Added Gate Replacement
  • Updated Mod Extension - Added all new Generator items.
  • Completely Rebuilt the Background Sector Manager.
  • Added Tracking Tags to: All Ship Types, Wrecks, etc...
  • Faction now start with a way more weapon to pick from.
  • Set up factions so I can add AI Weapon research
  • Built a new Equipment Manager
  • Equipment Manager: Adds Faction Weapons to craft from Faction Inventory.
  • Equipment Manager: Creates Missing weapon types and adds them to factions if needed.
  • Fixed: Alien Attacks not working.
  • Removed Old Scrapyard Script
  • Add Scrapyard tracking and wreckage spawning to the Sector Background Manager

Completed Update # 5.3 (10.02.2021):
  • Performance: Adjusted wreckage handling to detect new wrecks on destruction
  • Performance: Wrecks at a certain size will now explode (no damage) with animation
  • Feature: Newly destroyed ships have a chance to go critical and explode (with damage)
  • Xostan Latcher: Changed the default weapon. Only does shield damage now.
  • Xostan Latcher: Rebalanced the speed and boosting power.
  • Xsotan Summoner: Delayed the summoning by 30 seconds. They charge up now.
  • Xsotan Summoner: Animation for Primed Charge, and Depleted Charges
  • Xsotan Weapon: Adjusted the size and various stats for seeker weapons.

Wrecks seem to go supernova when sending a swarm o salvage fighters. even thou i killed it it still went supernova 4 min later XD
