Making field of view length light level dependent.
Dunno if this is possible (or easily implementable), but can an option be added to make the field of view length be at least partially (or fully) dependent on ambient light levels? Having pawns be able to see max sight distance at night is somewhat unrealistic... don't even get me started about shooting max distance at night!

This would ideally scale for light levels from 100 all the way down to 0, since seeing long distance at the 50 light level put out by lamps seems to sort of irrelevant inside (ie, unless in a giant room with columns, walls would be too close for max sight distance). Of course, I guess multple light scale options could be added instead... although seems like too much work.
