Major Rebalance on Barbarossa
So the Last Update 2.3.0 was focused on bringing Balance to the Eastern-Front. Since Russia kept dying in 1941 to CAS3 Mediums Axis i hope this will change it.

Russia dies so fast because you made it so the Germans are able to have almost double the factories the Russians have by Barb

Hackcheif7 Thats obv not the real Problem. Yes its part of it now but first of all Russia has FreeTrade Bonus the whole game, which is hughe and from day 1, that results in a immense Production Buff. People get 40+ Heavy Tank Divs without Problems and most Players couldnt get that in Vanilla. So thats not the Issue since I adjusted the Factories at 4th of June.
Russia dies to Cas3 wich makes medium tanks a no brainer.
The biggest Issue is Axis beeing able 2 produce CAS 3 without Allies punishing them, since Russia has closed eco, the former Russian Civs moved to Allies, since b4 the meta was just to Civboost Russia. Now its a 2 man Job Allies and Russia to kill Germany.
We have even winrates since than so its not unbalanced at all anymore.
If you still face that Problem join the official HMM Server and learn how 2 play Russia :)

The issue is the mod doesn't take into account that Germany will have his allies (usually not including Italy) civ boost him which makes them able to have insane amounts of civs, which then allow them to make large amounts of mils. with the factories gained from this they easily have over 300 mils before barbarossa. even if the allies bomb Germany (which his allies should be able to counter) Germany just solo steamrolls Russia in a few months due to having 2-3 times the heavies. and because of how his focus tree, and how they have more factories most of his divisions will have upgraded to heavy 3's at this point. CAS 3 isnt an issue since it's practically a waste if Russia has support AA or his tanks have Heavy SPAA. as well how are mediums a "no brainier" when they get right-clicked by heavies? in my opinion Russia and Germany should either be equal in factories, or Russia having slightly more civs by the time of Barb, since German should have to use his allies to win, and should struggle with Russia while fending off the Allies.

I am Sorry but from the things you point out I see that you are not playing on a deep level of the game. We have the issue that the "casual" community has a completely different game experience than the E-Sport type community. Balancing for both is roug, but feel free 2 join the Discord and see how the mod is ment to be playd :) We have 50 50 winrates with the best Players on Major Nations

I'm with the dev - I play HMM a lot, and it's pretty balance IMHO - I see equal wins on both sides. In fact, with the Soviet heavy TD meta that's come up in the last few months, most Germanys really struggle to push a good Soviet very far.
