Since comments should be for commenting, I figured I'd try to answer some of the questions posted in the comments in here. Please keep in mind I'm not a pro with mods, in fact I just started using them with Skyrim a few weeks ago. These are mostly my observations and personal results/experiences.

As far as I know...


The requirements for Convenient Horses 5.0 are:

1. SKSE (available on Steam)
2. SkyUI (v5.0 available on Steam as well)

DLC is not listed in the Mod description as a requirement. I have all of the DLC so cannot verify this particular portion of the subject.


SkyUI should recognize and initialize a new menu selection under the Mod Configuration Menu (Esc to display it with SkyUI installed).


Like the whistle (quested or bypassed), the horn is used to summon (teleport) one's horse from wherever it may be in the world. Very handy if it is always misplaced or lost. The horse can follow one as well until one loads into a new area.

I assume one's horse must be alive so don't forget to configure the horse protection options. The Horn (magic spell under the head icon) can be purchased from a stablemaster (also sells horses) in Nord or Imperial style.
