Activating the Cheat Mod for DLC missions, "Origins" etc. (and how to make it run on "newer" game versions)
This is a small x-Step guide how to activate the mod in all the new missions.

But before, if you can't run the mod after todays update. Do the following thing.

Go into your Men of War Folder (for example: D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Men of War Assault Squad 2 - If you are unsure, just use the search function) and go into the Folder "Mods" and subfolder "cheatsmod 488".

There is a file "mod.info." Open the windows notepad / text editor. Then drag & drop the file into it, as if you want to move the file around.

There should be a text line " {MaxGameVersion "3.261"} " change it to {MaxGameVersion "3.262"} and save the file.

If you get an error because acces is denied or something. Choose save on a different location. Save it onto your desktop. Then move the file from your desktop to the path where the file originally was and "confirm the overwrite".

Back to the original topic.

Every DLC (and Origin mission) is saved as .pak file in the "ressource" folder of the game. (Not in mods, the main folder, we originally looked for).

You can open these with Tools like 7zip, Winrar etc. the files should be named map_dlc_1.pak, map_dlc_2.pak and map_origins.pak

Open them up, drag and drop the content on your desktop.

Repeat this with all files. Then you go into the new folder and delete every file (no folders!) except the files named " 0.mi ".

Repeat the step we did originally with the game version (notepad, drag & drop) with each "0.mi" File. Scroll to the bottom of the file, look for the last both

}
}

Between those you add this (include "/map/cheatsmod/cheats.mi")

It should look now like this:

} (include "/map/cheatsmod/cheats.mi")
}

save it. Repeat for every file.

Then you go to the folder with the "mod.info" (look at the beginning) and open the folder "ressource" and then you open the .pak named "ressource.pak"

You open now the folder "map" inside and then "single".

Now you see folders similar to those on your desktop. Just drag and drop the folders from your desktop to the right location.

For example the file for the Normandy mission, you should now have a folder (inside your .pak file) single\01_usa-skirmish\07_usa-normandy with a 0.mi File.

Repeat this for all missions and don't forget to activate the mod ingame!
