New Races Requests
Since this mod is primarily about Racial Issues, there should be some discussion thread about what you might want to see in the mod.

Here’s what we have from you guys and is doable so far:
• Halflings or Hobbit-like
• Tiefling/Demonesque
• Trolls
• Ogres (Just added)
• Hybrids (Dworks/Dwelfs/Gobelf)
• Undead (Kinda added with Lich update)

Real vampire .Maybe Vampyran can become a trait with different level. Each level will make it look a little more like vampires (do like the ancient magic mod with depending on the level of the trait you can only fill part of the lifestyle tree). In the lore one could say that pureblooded vampires no longer exist and that normal vampyrans are atavism.

Can be a lifestyle tree for magic accessible to certain magical races like elves, feys but not humans (unless they have a potential magical style trait.) Races could have their own unique lifestyle tree like the vampires.

For now I would advise focusing on hybrids.

Oh, cool idea about the lifestyle tree based on the race.

I thought of a few different races.

Harpies. Located in Greece, they'd have a weaker prowess (hollow bones) but a slightly better stewardship. (Birds like shiny things I think). Slightly lower lifespan (-10/20 years?) and a 50% fertility buff. Maybe only female leaders can be born from them? Unsure if they should all be wanderers at the start.

Giants. Probably somewhere in Norway/Sweden, they'd be absolutely massive with a huge prowess bonus. A noticeably extended lifespan, 70 to 100 years. Maybe a better martial skill too, but a possible religion would make them want to be left alone.

[/b]Unsure if should be added![/b] Dragons. Hiding out in Russia or something, they'd have a massive boost to stewardship and prowess. (10-15). A potential religion would value being greedy, ambitious, and brave. If added, maybe don't make them leaders but instead wanderers.

Kobolds. Greedy and ambitious, these would basically be the great value version of dragons. +5 to +8 in stewardship, -2 in all other skills including prowess. Massive fertility boost, with a 20 year lifespan.

Golem. Made of stone and towering at 12-15 feet, these beasts would be strong, but absolute morons. Wouldn't be leaders, but could be created vie event. Immortal unless murdered and immune to viruses.

Satyr. Also in Greece, these short goat hybrids are excellent diplomats...but aren't good at much else. They could live to see 100, maybe even 150.

Hobgoblin. Mix an orc and a goblin and you have a hobgoblin.

Naga. Located in Pagan, these half-snake people would be capable of eating non-naga, with a good prowess and fertility boost. Very aggressive.

Constructs. Not in any start date, these machines are immortal and immune to viruses. They are also very durable. Can be built/leader can become one via event.

Catfolk. Located in southern Egypt and northern Ethiopia. Pretty similar to humans, with a massive fertility boost and reduced lifespan. +2 prowess bonus from claws.

@Normandy Thanks for the ideas. Golem, Construct, Giants (Jotun-sequel, not normal giants), Harpies, and Naga-like (Slytherkin) are being worked on or doable. The golems and constructs will likely be a decision to “build” them, so they’ll act as Knights. The Gnomes will get the Constructs, the Wood Elves with the Golems.

While I wish I can do the other suggestions like Kobold, Khajit, Dragons - I’ll need modeling help as that’s really hard/expertise work changing the basic mesh structure and applying those genes to the children.

I don't suppose we can see angel being added with wings and halo as crown? or demons? since there is vanilla religion would be interesting.

from what I've seen quick way to do that is to crop gfx from PNG about dragon and Khajit or even centaur, if we go that far maybe mermaid even possible. since there is no animal DNA as a base it going to be hard to do.

I was wondering if it's possible to mod in a new facemesh and textures? If so, I'd be more than happy to prepare some 3D or 2D assets. I had lizardmen in mind. They could be made by enlarging their eyes, making them pure black, sinking their noses into the skull and changing the bodytexture to scales. Other than that I'd suggest Chaos dawi?

@Ginufe It’s possible. I’m working on Slytherkin (lizardmen) now. Greenskin with scaly overlay. Wide eyed/face, with big jaws that come forward. It won’t be perfect with base game stuff, but it’s different.

Cyclops living in Greece mountanious areas. Massive and long lived not very fertile and also if it loses one eye it will be blind.

Yetis living on the tibetan plateau. Larger apelike creatures with white fur.

Vættir or Vättar could be a scandinavian branch of gnomes.

That are some ideas may return with more later

now it become cryptid mod lol. zombie horde in africa also nice maybe to replace golden horde invasion but seriously CK3 cannot handle that many immortal the save size would implode in mid late game.
Helixyos 12 Nov, 2020 @ 11:53am
To counter the problem of too many immortals can be created an event where a wave of magic kills 20% of the population (or more). Survivors could have a modifiers or a non-heritable bonus trait. Something like muscle modify + 5 prowess. Modified soul +5 learning, modified immune system +immunity to diseases etc.
KrispyJones  [developer] 12 Nov, 2020 @ 12:00pm
I’ve seen the problem with too many mortals. In single player, there can’t be more than 2. It’s an optional aspect either way. The elves themselves aren’t even immortal like they are depicted in most fantasy stuff, just extended lifespans with lower fertility. Liches aren’t immortal (they’re body will decay to dust)

Djin in some of the Middle East would be cool
