I'm currently playing norse expedition with a hard difficulty and I am on the year 1198 AD. The first thing you have to do is to move your army near Edinburgh then the next turn is to fortify yourself then next turn is to declare war against Scotland. Let the scottish king's army and the garrison army attack you. And you can take the Edinburgh settlement destroying the Scotland faction.
