Better Deep Scarce Ores

Balance Input
Especially in this Alpha stage I would love feedback on how to improve the balance while maintaining the hard core gameplay.

There are some issues for me in the early game using the Azimuth ore detectors. They're not reliable enough to find tier 2 deposits and I can literally drive around for hours on the earthlike planet without finding any cobalt. Can you consider an alternate version of this mod that retains the ore scarcity and distribution, but just doesn't bury the patches so deep or make each patch quite so expansive? I like the idea of having to look around with progressively more advanced technology to find specific higher tier ores but I'm hitting lengthy roadblocks that remove all fun from the game. It's not an issue with the concept, just the values need to be reigned in a bit in my opinion for the purpose of pacing.

@PSPSoldier534 Thanks for the feedback! I was a little worried it would be overly challenging to find ores with the surface hints unreliable. In my current play I managed to find a tier 2 relatively easily although I agree the Azimuth detectors are less than ideal. I ended up moving a bit and then turning them on at max range and waiting a few minutes of frozen game for it to scan. Moving was not possible without stuttering with my Ryzen 2600 CPU and 1060 GPU. I have received a recommendation for a different long range ore detector that might work better so am checking that out. I know there is also supposed to be a way in teh generator I use to have tiny seed patches near the surface to indicate one should dig deeper but I have to figure out how to use that function for the next major update. I like the idea of having higher detector tech that you can evolve too as you go up the tiers of ore survaying. It sounds like you are finding the patches too large as well, how much would you say they should be shrunk 20%?
