Crusader Kings III

LotR: Realms in Exile
On the Rings of Power
Are the non-Elven Rings a bit too weak to others? Some prestige and renown, or the previous plus a small amount of extra income % seems fairly weak for some of the oldest and most potent relics still around in the Third Age. A Crafted artifact by the player, operating with some decent resources, can far outstrip the craftsmanship of Celebrimbor, coached by Sauron, with all the knowledge and tools of Eregion.

Compare it to the massive benefits the Elven rings give, and it's night and day. While I can appreciate that the rarefied nature of the Elven rings makes them more potent, I still think it'd be reasonable for the Dwarven or Mannish rings to have fairly substantial stat improvements, or in the case of the rings of Men, perhaps major health bonuses, given the 'unnaturally long life' they bestowed on their holders.

I'd think Stewardship per Fame, Domain Limit, and a heftier Income % bonus for the Dwarven rings would be reasonable, given their wealth-begetting nature. Different stat bonuses, perhaps something like Learning for the Witch-King's ring, Stewardship for the Gold King, Martial for Khamul, etc, plus a decent but not-nearly Elven-tier Prowess increase, and perhaps a major Health improvement, for the rings of Men. But, given the corruptibility of Men, perhaps an event chain that slowly enshadows the bearer if it's not kept as a mere Court Artifact, with the base Prestige and Renown increases.

I understand the mod is far from complete, and I think it's perhaps the best mod for CK3 I've ever played. I say none of the above out of anger or derision; I only think that it would be an improvement to the mod to see changes made to the other Rings of Power. I only hope that the mod authors will continue the phenomenal work they've already done.
